📝 How to Register
Once you have faculty approval and the Master Agreement has been accepted, you will be authorized to register for the PUBH 498R class.
This process is the same as registering for other courses through your student portal.
✅ Before You Can Register
- Faculty Internship Coordinator must approve your application
- Employer must accept the Master Agreement
- Your I-Plan application must show "Authorized" status
PUBH 498R Cost
💰 Tuition & Fees
Internship credits are exempt from regular tuition charges.
⚠️ Administrative Fee
An administrative fee equivalent to one credit hour at the current tuition rate will be assessed for each internship course.
- This fee is charged separately from tuition
- This fee is not covered by the 12-credit tuition cap
PUBH 498R Class Assignments
📚 Course Requirements
The PUBH 498R course involves a number of assignments that you will submit regularly throughout the internship:

| Weekly Hours Reporting | Regular logging of your internship hours worked each week |
| Initial Report | Overview of your internship site, supervisor, and expected duties |
| Intermediate Experience Summaries | Progress updates throughout your internship experience |
| Final Report | Comprehensive summary of your internship experience and learnings |
| Evaluations | Self-evaluation and supervisor evaluation forms |

⚠️ Important Warning
Failure to complete the assignments for the course on I-Learn will result in a failing grade and the need to complete another internship experience.
