⏰ Timeline

It can take up to two weeks for approval, so plan ahead!

You can track your approval status anytime by accessing your application on I-Plan.

Step 2: Experience Provider – Employer Approval

📄 Master Agreement Process

When you submit your internship application through I-Plan, the BYU-Idaho Master Agreement will automatically be sent to your supervisor at the email address you provided on your application.

  • All internships require this agreement
  • Students will not be authorized to register for their internship class until all paperwork has been submitted and processed
  • The employer will review and accept the Master Agreement
  • You will be notified through email when it has been completed

🔄 Returning Employers

If they have hosted BYU-Idaho interns in the past 3 years, they will not be required to sign the agreement again.

📧 Supervisor Didn't Receive the Email?

If your supervisor has not received the email containing the agreement, verify that the email address on the application is correct. If it is, you may contact the Internship Office at internships@byui.edu for additional help.

⏰ Timeline

This process can take up to 6 weeks, so please plan ahead!
