Major Assignments and Course Standards

Students will be evaluated based on the criteria and weighting listed below. There are one or more lesson practice assignments which focus on individual skills taught in the lesson. The test your skills assignments are a combination of all of the skills taught in the lesson. All assignments and exams should be submitted prior to the time they are due. Assignments turned in late will be assessed a 10% penalty per day. All exams and assignments are open book. You may work with others in the course on assignments, but exams must be completed individually.

The MyEducator system has built-in features to make sure you are turning in your own work. Turning in another's work, copying and pasting from another, or providing your work to someone else to look at or copy is considered cheating and will result in a failing grade. Assignments can be turned in before the due date as many times as you want to get the score you desire. Assignments submitted late are assessed the penalty described above.

The exams required as part of this course are intended to allow the students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a practical application. Each exam covers the content of five lessons. You will be allowed two attempts at each exam. Your scores will be averaged.
