It is not every day that hundreds of college students get permission to act like little kids for a night. The First Night Extravaganza Saturday gave BYU-Idaho students that opportunity.

As part of the New Student Orientation, the First Night Extravaganza was the first official welcome-back party of the new year. Boxing games and the bungee run intrigued the masses, and an Orbitron had unending lines of people throughout the night.

“My favorite part was when I got to go in the Orbitron and have all of the NSO Team guys push me in circles,” alumnus Joee Morris, from Bountiful, Utah, and a leader of the NSO Team, said.

One of the most popular events of the night was The Dating Game. Five couples were matched up and given a free night out.

Pizza and soda was served and other activities included laser tag, sumo wrestling and a ASBYUI sponsored dance where several prizes were awarded.
