Backstreet Boys, N‘SYNC, LFO, Jericho Road; boy bands who win the hearts of a nation.

“Jericho Road is a journey not to be missed by any lover of great music,” Tom Haraldsen, Jericho Road’s publicist, said.

As unique as their name, Jericho Road features the talents of four young Christian men. Abe Mills, Bret Bryce, Dave Kimball and Justin Smith make up the a cappella group.

The quartet has been together for two years performing as VOX, their former name.

Their first CD, Jericho Road, which is now in stores, illustrates the talent and creativity of these four entertainers, Haraldsen said.

Some of the noteworthy hit tracks on the album are “If That’s What it Takes,” “What His Love is For,” “There is No End” and “Inside of Me.”

“Jericho Road has just the right formula to climb the charts and become a hit in the world of contemporary Christian music,” Haraldsen said.

The band has dedicated its efforts to spreading the good news of Christian-value based lifestyles through their music and dance, Haraldsen said.

“I just want to share my testimony [of the Lord] through music ... that’s positive but fun to listen to,” Mills said.

“I really hope we can be a positive influence to whoever listens to our music, ... especially the youth,” Bryce said.

“This isn’t just about four guys who live to perform; this really is about four guys who feel passionate about the Lord and who want to share His message with people of all faiths,” Kimball said.

Jericho Road is breaking records for Shadow Mountain, a division of Deseret Book, selling 10,000 units its first week, Haraldsen said.

Their songs were written by top-selling Christian artists such as Steve Stiler, including a couple of tunes the guys who co-wrote with their producer, Tyler Castleton.

Jericho Road has burst into the music World as a new boy band with a Christian message, mixed with teen idol good looks, great smiles and smooth vocal harmonies, Haraldsen said.
