Aarick Carlson (left) is an astounding person. He is a senior studying biology and has plans to go to medical school when he graduates from BYU-Idaho. After medical school he wants to move to Africa and be a village doctor for a village in Northern Africa. He loves helping people and says he doesn't care about the money he just wants to help out where it is needed. He also loves to go on long walks on the beach with his black lab which he rescued from an animal shelter in Quebec, Canada. Jeremy Pitchforth (right) is extraordinary. He is a senior studying communication and goes to school in Rexburg with his wife, Krystal. A huge motivating factor for Jeremy in his field of study is a love of wildlife. After serving his mission in Thailand where he witnessed severe animal cruelty, he says he wants to be an activist and spokesman for “our loving animal friends who cannot speak for themselves.” He enjoys hiking, bird-watching, and traveling in his spare time and indulges in apple pie as much as he can. |
